Ingredients

  • Fine Mesh Sieve/cheesecloth

  • Tins

  • 8-10 sprigs fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Rosemary

  • 3/4 cup carrier oil (such as a blend of olive, coconut, sweet almond, and jojoba oils)

  • 3/4 ounce beeswax

  • 1/2 ounce refined shea butter (unrefined can be used but is scented)

  • 8-12 drops of pine essential oil

  • 3 drops of sweet orange essential oil

Directions

Rosemary Infused Oil

Combine the rosemary sprigs and the carrier oil in a small saucepan.

Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.

Remove and let cool then strain either with cheesecloth or a mesh sieve.

Beard Balm

Using a double boiler, add the ½ cup of rosemary-infused oil and beeswax in the bowl.

Stir the mixture until the beeswax melts.

Add shea butter and stir until everything is completely melted and combined.

Add in your essential oils and stir until combined.

Carefully pour the mixture into your tins/jars.

Allow the balm to cool undisturbed for a few hours to allow them to set.
